My favorite mudra is the Jnana Mudra. Mudras are a way of positioning the hands and fingers to bring about cure to any ailment you might have. This symbolizes the past, present and future which are all happening at once in this very moment. It is also the gesture of wisdom and knowledge. This is what I've experienced and what it has done for me: The three fingers represent the past, present and future. When you touch the thumb and index together, this combines all 3 into one focused attention through meditation which can transcend the consciousness to re-connect to the power source already lying within. There, vision is clear and one can interpret situations as they really are. Decisions are easily made accordingly in order to transition smoothly and effortlessly throughout life. That source knows one's entire life span from birth to death and will lead the enlightened along the path that carries them into experiencing this life at the optimal level of peace. At this state of mind, one can and is able to carry out their destiny and do what they do best according to the talent they were given and job they're assigned and born to carry out. After all, if we are not currently fulfilling our destiny, then what are we doing? Jnana Mudra can lead the way...

Place your index finger on your third eye and bring the tips of your thumb, middle and ring finger together extending the pinkie. This is my spin on the Apaan mudra. This is my go to, cure all and cover everything mudra. It cleanses the body and helps to regulate and increase your energy flow. Often when we are holding on to something spiritually, our bodies will hold on to it's mass as well causing blockages, swelling, tension, disruption, disharmony within and ultimately disease. What you think, will be just that. Watch your thoughts carefully for they will shape your reality. Be still and know.
